Description of the tender

The INNOVITAS Research-Development and Innovation Non-profit Ltd. and the SLOVENSKO MAĎARSKÉ HOSPODÁRSKE FÓRUM the tender named “Quality education in cross-border practice” with code number HUSK/1101/1.6.1/0089 has received fund at 08 June 2014.
Our goal within the tender was to bring closer the demand and supply side of the labor market. WE would like to help teachers and students with our project in making them recognize the expectations of the employer side towards fresh graduates, what entrant competencies are expected to be developed.
Within the project we wish to give an opportunity to get acquainted with the Slovakian education system, revealing the best practices and implementing them into the Hungarian education methods.
Within the project three events carried out with three of trade schools belonging to the Education District of Miskolc: Kandó Kálmán Secondary School, Fazola Henrik Secondary School and Andrássy Gyula Secondary School. Each school was represented by their directors and three of their students. From the Slovakian side the Gymnázium, Školská, Stredná odborná škola technická and the Stredná odborná škola drevárska schools represented themselves in the training.
- 1. Day of modern education - workshop It is the two-day workshop of the teachers in which they present the education methods explaining their effects on the quality of human resource development. The presentation of the different education methods and examples, exchange of experiences, sharing them with the company representatives happens here.
- 2. Six-day seminar series The seminar was organized in two-day phases on which Slovakian and Hungarian students work together in order to be better acquainted with the fields of natural science and engineering. Talent nurturing and entertaining trade team works take place at the seminars and lectures are being held involving university teachers and company experts. During the seminar series students could visit the premises of Shinwa Precision Hungary Ltd., TAKATA Safety Systems Hungary Ltd., ÉMKK Zrt. where they were able to get acquainted with the manufacturing processes, and the competencies needed to fill in the work areas of the factories and premises.
- 3. Training of communication skills During the communication and marketing training students participating in the project could develop their marketing and communication competencies, the aim of which is to prepare them to the challenges of the labor market. Beyond the events within the project an interactive portal system will start up, which provides unique help for the job seekers in finding the most suitable work opportunity and sharing experiences. Designing the interactive portal system was preceded by a large scale research procedure, during which we attempted to create such a unique, manageable and useful forum that takes the best practices in the market and the users’ expectations into account in the world of searching for jobs.
